Competition lines are a lot of fun.  You dance 2-3 times per week and attend 3-4 competitions throughout the year.  Dance classes move at a faster pace and you will learn tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, musical theater and some dancers do Pointe as well.  We also have a competition hip hop group at Tempo.

Anyone ages 5-18 interested in auditioning must sign up for the required classes held during the summer workshop.  Audition combinations will be taught during these sessions.  There is a fee for auditioning and if you make a competition line a portion of your fee will be applied to your competition fees.  If you do not make a line, a portion of your fee will be applied to your fall recreational classes.  By attending auditions you are taking the first step to becoming a competition line member.  Auditions are the place where judges watch everyone and put groups together.  If you are auditioning, it should be with the intent to participate on a team if you make it.  Please be advised if you are auditioning and decide not to participate on the team you are placed on for any reason, your audition fee will be forfeited.

7:30-8:30 Ages 12-18 (Tap/Jazz/Lyrical) - or Intermediate/Adv. Level
